As we can see CIC's annual target for 2018 was to issue 74,900 ITAs only, anyhow it ended up issuing 89,800 ITAs in total, which is almost 15000 more than the initial target.
So, based on that fact we can assume this year's target to be around

81400 + 15000 = 96400.

Which seems highly likely and totaly legit! We will surely witness an increase in the ITAs during the second half of the year. Only then the trend of 450s would be reduced extensively.

Yes, that's what we call a good observation. We all will witness increased number of ITA's June onwards. Now, the target for this year will only be achieved with two major factors - increased ITA's and 1 week surprise draws (in between). However, the current trend seems promising with 3350 ITA's till this month's end but June will definitely start pushing down scores from 449 to 445 in coming months. It's just a matter of time!

So, all we need to show patience here and definitely, try to improve our scores if there is any scope :)

Yes, exactly! I strongly believe that the 1-week gap draw will also be conducted during the second half only, and before that honestly I don't feel CIC is in need of that one!

Let's see what July gonna bring for us and others as well, waiting in the pool. Till then we need to sit calm and keep our hopes high!

If you’re not claiming point for secondary applicant’s work experience, just mention NO in the work history column. When you’ll get ITA, you have to fill his work details in “personal history”. No need to upload any documents, just enter work details!
Do we get points for secondary applicant’s work experience?

This is precisely what I believe and have been preaching in my WhatsApp and Facebook groups. People are not willing to show any patience and are just dying to pay money to IDP or BC.

Once CIC agents realize that they need more immigrants, there would be 1 week gap draw during the 2nd half of the year.

Because they don't count the number of itas as a target, that's why they may need more itas to fulfill the annual target which is the number of landed immigrants as a PR.
