Hi all, as someone who is waiting for their PPR to come through, I believe the period between creating an EE profile and waiting for an ITA is the most stressful and nerve-wracking. The stress that follows after an ITA is different because you have more certainty over the process and timelines.

It appears that IRCC have decided to hold draws every couple of weeks at 3,350 invites per round, and the trend is holding at 450+ since the end of January. If you are stuck in the 430s and 440s, I would like to offer you some humble advice: a) try to improve your CRS score (suggestions below), and b) create a profile and join the pool as quickly as you can so you don't miss a back-to-back draw like the one on 30th Jan (438).

Here are some ways in which you can increase your CRS score:

1. If you're married, calculate your CRS score by switching the primary candidate as either the husband or the wife. It might make a huge difference!

2. Try to achieve the highest band in each of the four sections of IELTS:
Listening: 8.5/9, Reading: 8/9, Writing: 7.5/9, Speaking: 7.5/9

3. If you already speak some French, there is a total of 54 points available for scoring in the highest bands of either the TEF or TCF Canada. Even if you are able to score up to NCLC 7 or above in any of the sections that's an extra 3 points per section, and an additional 30 points if you hit NCLC 7 in each of the four sections! If you don't speak French now and really need some extra points, consider learning French formally for a year or longer. The TEF/TCF are not easy to "hack".

4. If you have the luxury of time or money, consider getting a second certificate/degree that will be recognized by any of the ECA bodies (such as WES, IQAS, etc.) as either a second certificate/diploma of one year or more (33 additional points) or a master's (40 additional points). Be forewarned that many postgraduate diplomas from India are not recognized as a master's degree and some may not even be recognized as a second certificate, so be sure to research this area thoroughly.

Good luck, and I hope you find yourself invited in the next round!

Sure buddy!, Let's wait until 24th.
I kinda started hating jan, THE MONTH, with around 11000 itas, but happy for the guys who went through.
@fakeaccounts.
I was thinking that now people are more aware about the EE system and, therefore, would result into the decrease in ita decline rate. But many took it otherway and make fake profile for testing purpose and decline the ita which i, personally, dont like. If they are 2-3 %, which is huge and would be enough to kill the dreams of many, especially 441-449. The guys with 441-449 are lossing points after certain period of time so please avoid making fake prifiles. You may spend more time on internet or consult an immugration agent if you have doubts but please don't go for this, fake profile making, practise.

The thing which panicked me is the number of ITAs. Let's see if they prefer b2b draw instead of increased number of ITAs.

Suraj
Yes, because of those folks only, we all are suffering extensively, and consequently the list of 441-450 is increasing rapidly.

Well, talking about the ITAs, I believe the figure will change to 3900 in the second half of this year, as the analysis shared by @13nitinsharma . So, our only ray of hope is a one-week draw. Hope for the best.

Demo/Redundant Accounts.
I am 8 months into the PR process (ielts, wes and what not) and had made around 4 demo profiles on ircc to go through the process (ofcource with fake details as shown in many youtube videos) and 2 out of 4 profiles had also recieved ITA's aswell as I had entered maximum score fetching values.
I'm sure many of us have done the same. Most famous "Profile creation for express entry step by step" video has over 1.5 lakh views and if mere 10% of the viewers have tried their hands, it equals15000 redundant profiles.
Surely this may be one of the reason for the crazy 450+ entries into the pool this year. I have already deleted/withdrawn those profiles and hope everyone to do the same. And please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Post a link to that video, guys let's report that filthy video and get it removed.

Hey guys, I had got ITA in the 57th draw (March 2017) and I'm already in Canada. Just applied for TRV for my mom and thought to login to forum after 2yrs to check if there's a forum for TRV tracking. And I came across the Ray of Hope forum. It suddenly gave me the nostalgic feeling :) 2yrs back, I was so much in the same position. And the ray of hope thread used to be the only Ray of Hope .
I wish you all very best and hope you all come to Canada sooonnn... Its really worth the efforts
