I also dont understand how there are only 3360 people between 441-450?? They have been accumulating for the last 3 draws because cutoff has not gone below 450 during that period. How come there are only 3360 people spread over 10 points?

Guys,

@abhishek_89 @13nitinsharma @NikSharma01 @skg1988

My birthday is on 04 May so two more two-week draws.

Current score: 451
App submission date: 02 Feb 2019

Current IELTS - LRWS 8,9,7,8
Number of attempts - only one so far

Checked IELTS dates. CBT is available on next Wednesday so result will be out by 17 April. TRF courier will take another 7 days.

Question - Do I give IELTS again?
Hey SeniorStakes,
I was just analyzing the frequency of candidates between March 14-29 and it was 222.2. So according to that, there would have been 3523 candidates on 20 March. With the backlog of 173 and 222.2/day, today's draw could have taken all the candidates with 451.
If we see more carefully, it is the time of draw which shattered your hopes. You had a bit bad luck today, the draw beforehand 5-6 h could have included you.
You have a chance to increase 3 more points and I think you can do this. I can understand how hard it will be to wait for another 14 days. I will say go for IELTS which will definitely keep you busy and, I hope, you will get ITA before your IELTS result.
Good Luck buddy...

You do not need to wait for tfr, you can get tfr number by calling them after you get result and update the same.

@SeniorStakes - Agreed with Suraj here, valid points. Please book IELTS on the safer side. In your case, you should put all your efforts before May 4 so that at the end you dont regret that you would have done better. So, its advisable for you to go for IELTS and give a best try.

The good part is you’ll be through in the next draw for sure. I’m hopeful this time since draw will be below 450 now on April 17.

Perhaps you should mate, just to be on safe side..
However, as per today`s draw, 441-450 candidates are soaring, you should be fine in the next draw. Also, high possibility of getting 3 draws this month (just a number logic, not saying it will happen for sure).

Good luck!

Ohh gosh! My sleep just disappeared.

No, lost to tie breaker. My application submission was 02 Feb, even though my IELTS was ready in early Nov. I am such a fool I delayed getting into the system.

I now must decide whether or not to give IELTS again. Between Jan 10 and Feb 02, there shouldn't be more than 20-40 candidates because there was anyway a draw of 438 on 30 Jan.

I lost by a whisker. Two more draws before my birthday.
Everything happens for a reason and we learn from our mistakes. Dont worry, be positive and I’m sure this time, next draw is OURS.
450+ will be through in the next draw!!

Great question. I am trying to see if anyone could help answer this.

It’s possible if the person rejected or never accepted the invitation. If he or she does either one of them, then the person will be considered for the next draw. I hope this can helps you understand.

Honestly seaking, I don't think you should panic about it much! Looking at the current trend of the draws, the decline figure is -1 to -2. Based on this, the upcoming draw on 17th may come up with either 449 or 450. Whichever would be, you're in mate.
It is us with lower 440s, who should really panic and think about registering for the IELTS again. Its the only way I can improve my scores with 3-9 points.
However, as you said your birthday is looming around and you're at the risk of loosing few points, so just to play safe go for the IELTS and improve your scores. Good luck
