I wouldnt classify it as a bad practice considering they did earn it. Anyway, fact is that technically they can put anything they want in the EE appln TRF number. It is only in the eAPR they need to put the correct one. In this cut throat competition, they might as well cut some throats. (gulp! I just said that.)I understand your point regarding TRF but you know these days people are getting smart. We can generate the TRF number accurately before it arrives. It has a fixed format. I have seen many people ( 2 of my friends in this draw also) doing this. I know this is not a good practice and no one should do it but me or you or anyone like us can't stop the desperation of someone. Those guys know that it is risk but still they don't stop.
Does anyone know if we will have to do biometrics from the US for this draw? I'm aware that biometrics starts December 31, 2018 for the Americas.
Since the documents are due just before December 31, 2018, does that mean I don't have to do biometrics? Or will I have to do it since PPR won't be issued before December 31, 2018?
Clever! I feel its easier to do that with WES ECA coz the format is very predictable. And I wasn't among those cut throat group , although now i wish i was a bit more smart. I received my ECA PDF couple of hours before the last draw, as i have already posted here i didn't anticipate another Monday draw so I completed my EE profile a few hours later than the actual draw time. Now after reading through the smart tricks on these forums, I very well could have posted my EE profile a day in advance before the ECA is completed. Anyways, its done and dusted now - waiting for the next draw!I wouldnt classify it as a bad practice considering they did earn it. That's really funny. I took mine in the US and mine matches this format too. 18US... This could really help some people get ahead if they have their electronic confirmation already before the hard copy. Maybe this should be a sticky post?you people are right. This will definitely help people, considering draws nowadays on Monday. Usually, we will receive TRF hardcopy only on Tuesdays.

"The TRF number is easy to guess, it is formed of the following criteria:
The last two digits of the year + the short name of the country where you gave the test + Candidate number + Your last name's first three letters + your first name's first letter + the code of the test center + the module
For (James Antony) who has given the general module test in India in 2015, and who has the candidate number (003819) in the test centre number IN019,
his reference number is:
15IN003819ANTJ019G
99:99% they will loos. They didn’t even get 20% votes in Ontario so they will be gone soon. #AlwayswithConservativesThat is also contingent on the fact that Liberals don't lose the federal election next year.

It’s very true. This is very important for candidates who wait for their IELTS result. I already missed the golden chance due to the TRF number.you people are right. I found below post in some thread. As per that my TRF number matching exactly.

No - the breakdown of candidates in the pool was a snapshot as at 25th Oct. and the draw was 29th Oct. so there were additional candidates added to the pool in the 4 days between (somewhere in excess of 1000). If you look at previous draws the breakdown is normally around 6 days prior to the actual draw.Hi could you please explain this data...as per my understanding there are total 2944 (434+1773+736) candidates above 441 this indicates if draw call for 3900 candidates all above 441 will get ITA.. This data reflects the candidates till draw date ( including pending for previous results)..is am right..??

I'm afraid @vensak is mistaken. When it comes to do or not to do biometrics, that does not depend on the draw date but on the date when you get your PPR request. So answer is most likely yes, because give the short time until end of this year, people that are invited now, will get their PPR only next year.
