That's our rating system; we feel helpless to understand it, except we smile about it.

I like protagonist --- not sure how to back track but this certainly gives an opportunity to be thinkers or may be not but at least use this option to let their CLICK heard

probably so people can look at a rating to determine what the other posters think of that person's answers.

Wouldn't it be better if we had 'both', the + & - ratings shown, side by side?

I mean, we would know how many of our posts got 'good' marks & how many didn't. Rather than being able to view just one 'standard', '+ or -' rating.

The site administrators can do this : http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=91 if they wanted.

Description:
This mod allows users to rate topics (1 to 5 stars). Admins choose which board(s) users can rate topics on, so if you don't want them rating your announcements, you can set it so they can't rate topics on that particular board.

I am on another forum where you can see the score of each post by the post but if you click on the user, you can see the score of the user.
