I asked rcmp they said its valid 3 months with them, but it does not mean it has expired, it depends upon who you are giving it to.
On Ircc website it is mentioned that the PC you get for immigration purpose is valid for one year and even my immigration consultant said that and I checked on website as well.

Hello, Hola, Namaste, immigrants!

For everyone who’s waiting for their ainp(mostly for those who are supposed to get it within a few weeks): I just thought I’d share this information with you guys. We have to get police clearance certificate(from Canada and your home country both) in order to apply for federal(after getting ainp), which usually takes 2 weeks. It is valid for 6 months, so it’s better to apply for it right now so that we can save 2 weeks in the future :D
Also, you’ll need your birth certificate in English, so if it’s in a different language, get an English one from your home country and get it notary atested, or you can search “Translation Services” on google maps and get it from Canada(around $60) :)

Also, a question: Does anyone know if it’s okay to switch jobs after getting ainp? I got hired as a car salesperson in a dodge dealership, and I really reallyyyy would like to work there. So, is it ok to go work as a NOC C/D employee or will it be a problem?
Pleaseee Only answer if you’re 100% sure cuz some of my friends are saying it’s ok as they know some people who drive trucks after getting their ainp aproved, and some are saying I can’t go to noc C after applying through an employer as a supervisor(noc b)
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks :)
I have already got my pcc from home country and for canada is in process. Do i need my husband’s pcc too? Hes not in canada and also do i need my husband birth certificate translated and attested?

Sorry I have no idea about that. It’s best to just call an immigration lawyer and ask them. Good luck

Hello all,

I got my province nomination under the PGWP stream last Friday, July 6.

Got email with file number on December 01, 2017
Applied under NOC 6552 - Other customer and information services representative

On Friday morning I got a email from an AINP rep asking me to call her. I did and she verified if I was still working for the same company, same position, as well as my home address and marital status. Then she asked me if my supervisor knew I applied, his name and phone number, so she could call him too, I guess for double verification purposes. Around 4:00pm, I got an email with the province nomination certificate.

I know you may feel desperate, but I think process is working now. Be patient and I wish you all the best - I mean that your request is approved :)
