I guess it's because AINP needs to fill the remaining nominations before the end of the year.

Did you call them because they have finished processing before march 18/2015 i think you can call them and they should give you answer.

I am going to call them today. I tried calling them yesterday but no answer. Does any one know the number to call ainp. The phone number on website shown doesnt work.

I applied under SRS-PG worker category on Oct 25th, and received file number on Nov 24th.
Site shows processing as Oct14-Nov 2, 2016.
I am travelling to my home country for a week tomorrow and will be back on 7th dec, 2016 ( sister's wedding)
What happens in such a case if they arent able to reach me via phone?
I do have my uncle's number given as altenate and havent used any representative.

Its work try to call 2 or 3 time whithin 2 hour

Make a voicemail message like hi, if you are calling from AINP, please send me email...just in case, but I know that they will call to the friend number (in case u not available) that u gave them in the form

Hello Everyone,
I need help/suggestion regarding my work permit extension. I applied under ESD International Graduate category by Sept. 2014 and got my nomination by last week of October 2016. My Post graduate work permit (open work permit) will expire by first week of Feb. 2017
I received a support letter to extend my work permit along with my AINP. On my work permit its specifically mentioned that "There are no restrictions to Employer", so as of now I am planning to apply for Work permit extension. I'm not sure if i'll get an open work permit or closed work permit with my current employer. I know that when it's mentioned on the AINP that "I do have restrictions to my employer" then it will be closed to my current employer, but mine is not. I'm really very confused as I have short time frame to act. I won't be getting the file number or AOR before Feb 2016 because the average waiting time to get FILE NUMBER or AOR is about 110 days from the date when application is accepted by CIO.

Any thoughts ?
