My husband has applied under EDS-skilled worker category since December 2014 and we haven't heard from AINP yet, Recently I got graduated from Alberta and working as post doc right now. Can I apply under postgraduate worker category as the main applicant and include my husband as my dependent in that? I mean can we have two applications in different categories? one having me as the main applicant and the other one my husband?

the above post some how I posted by mistake, I am sorry for that, but I am going through same scenario, except it's the opposite case, I applied for AINP and can my husband apply for a separate file.

File number: June 06, 2016
AINP received: August 02, 2016

My AINP nomination expiring on January 30, 2017.

Applied for federal on September 02, 2016. They returned my documents on November 14, 2016, because my signatures were missing on IMM0008 form.
Then, Re-submitted again on same day with signatures.

Fedearl application sent: November 14, 2016
Received at CIC Sydney, Novascotia- November 17, 2016

Waiting for AOR.....

ok so i have a question - i recently got requested additional information from AINP - my work permit had expired and i was on implied status. I let AINP know this and im waiting now to hear back from them. Was anyone else in a similar situation and what was the outcome?

U will get it as AINP is moving a little bit faster than before (cuz they closed ainp in august 2015). Btw, adding spouse wont help much in getting nom. but I think you have to inform ainp about your spouse right?

I have a Bridging Closed Work Permit through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), I have also received a positive LMIA. Now I'm confused whether i need to apply for another work permit or can i use my existing work permit and apply for express entry?
