Well its a long story I was working at gas station they told me that we will apply for your LMIA after one year but we cannot sign your AINP but at the very end moment they refused to do that. Then I changed the job now in June. That is why I applied so late. :-[

Please keep in your mind AINP is not working according to file received date.
They are considering work permit expiry factor. As per my analysis, in these days candidates are getting nominations whose work permit is expiring in one month.
I know you are frustrated but Please keep patience as you have 7 months in your work permit. Eventually you will get your nomination before work permit expire.
This is WRONG! AINP is based on the Received date. There is no fact that they process files based on the WP expired date. It just that they will nominate you after you wait like 21-23 months (close to 24 months), and your wp is nearly expire. Then they will provide it. But that's a small chance. You can't just say you apply in 2 or 3 months and ur wp expire. Then they should nominate you. That's not true.

I feel sorry for you. This is a scam because the application for AINP is much much simple than the LMIA. You should have done more research before taking the job. I hope you will be fine.
If you are in SRS stream, then you will be fine for sure bc they process max like 6 months. However, for EDS, it's nearly 24 months.

Hi, my husband applied for Ainp in april 2015. received the file number on 13th May2015. Applied in Employer driven stream. He is a post graduate work permit holder "3years validity" expiring on 12th March 2017. We dont have much time left. Can you please tell us when is the possibility to receive AINP. We r in d process to apply for lmia again as well. It got rejected the first time last week as our company HR did a mistake from her end and did not posted the advertisemment through the entire process of lmia and took the ad off after 30 days.

Also, my husband is eligible in CEC, 23months of experience . Can we put the profile in the pool ? Really confused as AINP is not counted under EE.

Please reply, we really need some guidance.

Thanks

Chhaya

Three notes on today's Ainp update:
1. 300 certificates are issued every months
2. Total applications are reduced by 200 ever month
3. International students category is growing makes it the one with longest processing time ( 2100 applications) followed by skilled worker category (1600 applications) together they represent about 80% of the total volume of applications.
4. 4 months left and 2400 certificates so obviously these guy are intentionally saving certificates to the end of the year..I don't know why

Any thoughts on this..please share

Guys,
I have two questions;
1- if someone is switched from an hourly wage to a salary, but all conditions of employememt remain the same, should one inform AINP?
2- After one is nominated, can one move to another province? Would that affect the PR application?

Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

after you get nominated, there is no problem to move to another province.

I found the same problem with you.
1.the total difference between issued and reduced, caused by the new applications went in.
2.I think they want to save more nominations for Albertan graduated students, not out of province people. that's why the international graduate and skilled worker category go very slow
3. they are really lazy

Something wrong with your dates ! from july 2016 to oct 2017..is only 17 not 27..if you look back in the previous post you will find a guy who applied under the same EDS 6316 and got it in twenty something months..don't lose hope ..there is a good chance you get it if processing time improves

Hi

Applied under SRS- Post Graduate (NOC 1212)
Applied on : June 21, 2016
Application rec.: June 23, 2016
File #: July 20, 2016

As per AINP Website, they are working on applications received between June 27, 2016 and August 22, 2016 !(for Post Graduate category)
So I called them, they said my file has been already allocated to an officer but final decision is yet to be made :o ???
Anybody applied under that NOC before June 27, 2016 and got their nomination??????????
