R u waiting for AINP nomination

I have a query I am filling for IMM0008ENU_2D(Generic Application for for Canada) as I am applying for AINP SRS post graduate category. Can someone advise what do I need to mention in the following sections:

-"Program Under which you are applying"

-"Category under which you are applying"

-"How many family members including you are in this application". Do I mention "1" if its only me?

-If I am on post graduate work permit do mention my status as "Worker"?


-And occupation is my "job title"?

--Also if I am applying for AINP do I need to fill form IMM0008_4E (Schedule 4 Economic classes provincial nominees) as a principal applicant?



Would appreciate your input.

After the principal applicant has received their nomination, a spouse or common-law partner who is accompanying the principal applicant and who is currently in Canada is entitled to apply for open work permits for the duration of the principal applicant’s work permit

Does this mean that after nominated for ainp the certificate can be used to get an open work permit for spouse who is in canada

hi I remember your ainp declined because your income falls short of LICO, and what did you do to get your nomination again, yes to your question , your spouse can apply an open work permit.

You will get it soon. Now they email the nomination instead of mailing it.

Its too late to apply for LMIA..Got verification call by officer on wednesday..nothing after that....officer was satisfied but still wait for the decision

I applied for AINP in july 2014, and they received it on 19th August 2014, I received my file number on 4th October 2014. Still waiting for nomination. is there any possibility of nomination ?

Its too late to apply for LMIA..Got verification call by officer on wednesday..nothing after that....officer was satisfied but still wait for the decision

I would suggest you to call ainp officer tomorrow morning... i saw somebody received his nomination on the date of work permit expiration

I called same officer on Thursday..she said she cant tell anything right now and told me to be patient...she said they are still working on it...

Good to know. I applied on 14th Aug 2014, hopefully I will get it in next few days. My WP expires this friday.

The employer creates a GIC key account on employer portal (cic website) and then using the account submits an application for (lmia-exempt-)offer of employment for the employee(us) and few days before your WP's expiry, you file for your WP based on the employer's offer of employment number. It takes a lot of days, we filed employer's application on june 06 and WP on june 21. No decision yet made on any.

I am a former AINP applicant EO Cat. I received my nomination a year ago and I am in process of getting PR (sent my application to Ottawa on August 6 2015)

I haven't followed this topic for some time but now my cousin is thinking about taking one yer program at collage in Calgary and we wonder if one year PGWP will be enough to apply for AINP post graduation Cat. What is approx. waiting time in this cat?

Also is he required to work in the field of study or any 0, a, b or c job?
