Hey Guys,

Can I have an honest opinion if I will be getting my ANIP or not before 11th July 2016(My work permit expires) with this processing rate. I applied on 15th August 2014 and since then I have been working for the same employer. Its been 20+ months and waiting. I still have 2 months and I am really hoping to get my AINP within that time.

The concern I am having is that what if they call me or my employer after my work permit expires. Or Do they call you in timely manner before your work permit expires especially when you have waited almost 2 years. Because I don't want to get in the situation where they will call me and I won't have valid work permit because of their slow....very slow processing.

Your opinion will help me believe, that I will get my AINP in time.

Thanks

If you are under NOC A OR B category then u can accept nomination by then. If you are NOC C or D, you may not get it by the time your work permit expires.

They don't consider your work permit expiry date, so by the time you get a call the work permit may expire.

Is it going to make a difference if under NOC A/B vs C/D?

One of my friends got email from ANIP.

Hello xxxx

You application for nomination under the ANIP is in process. Please provide the following information immediately by return email:
- Your phone number
- Your residential address
- Your mailing address
- Have you applied for permanent residence under express entry of other stream?

Officer called to my friend and ask about address and will send nomination.

He applied on February 10.
He got file number on April 20. Engineering Opccupation category

Hello everyone,

does that make any difference for processing time(AINP) for specific NOC code in international graduate category?
And what kind of proof do I need to give for work permit extension based on LMIA file no?

Any ans/comments will be highly appriciated.

Thank you guys and good luck to all.

They don't specifically say anything but what I have seen is A and B peoples files are opened much earlier as compared to C and D.

it is wrong

Not completely. I have four friends who applied in late may. 3 of them in B category...they have already received calls and nomination is in its way. the fourth one who applied in Class C is still waiting.

As I said, they have not specifically highlighted this but I have seen this work in many cases.

I myself applied in December 2014, but got my PR through Express Entry. I received an email in September 2015 from AINP regarding my nomination but I withdrew my application back then.
