Guys, I need your help

I am struggling to find a full time job that is needed for AINP. I could only get part time job as a sales associate. So if you please have any tips on how you guys landed your jobs as it appears that online applications do not work at all, do you used cold call, applied to shops/stores directly, or do what ? Another question is have you looked only in Edmonton/ Calgary region or have you tried the more rural areas ? please give your advice as this would be helpful to many of us who is planning to apply for AINP,

All the best

The online job posting is true. BUT.. it is difficult to get. Most companies hire employee from references. At least in my company 90% of colleague got their job from references. To my understanding, In Canada, it is not about what you know, but who you know.. If you don't know anybody, try to contact recruitment company/headhunter, it won't be easy but who knows you might be lucky.

So forget about those online applications I would say it's a pure luck to get anything from it. It is a waste of time to spend 3 hrs just to make one super fancy tailored resume for one job posting but the hiring manager only read it for less than 15 seconds (IF they really read it and not tossing it to garbage bin).

You MUST meet people, call them, email them, meet them in person, ask for informational interview over coffee, do volunteering, find their hobby on internet and approach them personally, and be super proactive but not intrusive. You are targeting the person who will make decision to hire you NOT the job.

Good luck

Hey bro....They never call from Unknown number.....even if it's CRA or Immigration Canada...! I called my AINP officer today and told him that I haven't got my AINP till now...So he told me that he just dispatched my letter today in the mail....I remembered his name so I called him on the same number from which he called me couple of weeks ago.

No change bro that is what is the problem, I expected some thing like OINP EE for AINP :(
as usual no change but cic has cut down the economic quota(CEC,FSW,FSTP) by 20% what a shame by increasing other quotas.

Does ainp giving any importance to candidates who are about to expire soon... or is it just giving away nomination to candidates who applied first???

Check the processing times page and you can read this: *Any applications received before the posted dates are already being assessed by an AINP officer.
