We all should also sign a petition (we should try to get signatures from all applicants who have been waiting from a long time now)

What say?

Hello Sir,

I am writing you with a lot of hope on behalf of myself and all the International students who applied under AINP EDS - International Graduate Criteria.

I applied under AINP-EDS in June 2014 and is still did not hear anything from them like all other International Students. I am working in IT department as a skilled worker (NOC B). I came to Alberta with a dream to work and settle in Alberta. I have been waiting for more than 17 months now.

Not only me, but almost all the applicants who applied under EDS category (especially who studied in province other than Alberta) have been waiting for more than a year now. When we applied to AINP, there was no mention if priority would be given to students who completed their studies in Alberta.

When i applied for AINP, there was just 4 months processing time, then it increased to 6 months, then to 18-22 months and now there is no processing time at all.

Looks like our files have just disappeared, with no processing time, no updates on our files (except file numbers). If we call AINP the only answer we get is to go to AINP website and find the details. However, there are no details on processing times. Most applicant's work permits will expire next year. If we do not get nomination sometime sooner our future is in dark.

Please help us in this difficult situation so that we can get AINP nomination and make our dreams come true.

Your Faithfully
AINP EDS Applicant

International graduates appeal for AINP processing time

Dear honorable MR. John McCallum,

Reason: AINP unfair processing Time

We are writing this letter with a big hope that you will do something to help us from these difficult times under being Alberta nominee as international graduates.

I am one of those international students as well who have been waiting for 18-24 months in order to receive nominee from province .first of all , these processing time are unbearable for us .Secondly ,we do not even have opportunity to extend our work permit with AINP file number. Most of us have three years work permit and expiring sooner or later in year of 2016.last but not the least ,we can even apply under express entry as our scoring goes lower just because we are open work permit holders without LMIA .

I have applied in June 2014 under international graduate –employer driven stream. The time we applied we had processing time approximate 3-6 months. Suddenly, AINP updated those time into 8-12 months .The worst part after few days ,they again changed it into 18-24 months .the moral of the story we got we have no more processing time ,with nearly expiring work permit without having any exemption of extending it .

According to the AINP updates, we still keep on following each rule. We do understand they need to access file according to so many factors .However, this change is every unfair for all of us waiting for so long as we were once internationals of Canada. We have studied here, similar like post graduates of Alberta, then why this unfairness? Most of us are in major occupation, working for almost 2-3 years. Whereas, there seems no relief by AINP especially for international graduates.

This is our humble request to you to look forward with this immigration issue .This is our pledge if government can take a minute to review this issue. This is very miserable and stressful time for all of us as we have so many dreams relay on that. We all are really looking forward to achieve our targets onward in 2016 and be an important part of Canada’s economy continuously.

Big hopes on liberal government.

With regards
Pardeep Kaur Grewal

Be patient bro.. if you don't get anything by the end of this week. Try to send them Fax of updated address and additional notes telling them that you are worried the package might have lost in the delivery. That way they will double check if they issued your nomination or not.
