Hi, I have also applied under EDS international grad category
NOC1242 in April 2014; still haven't heard anything.

I applied under NOC 2281 EDS INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE ON Jan 2014. Still waiting

Applied 29th may 2015.
received file no. 4th Aug 2015.
under SRS Engineering occupation
WP Exp. Sep 31, 2015

NOC: 2253

still nothing so far

As of August 24, 2015, the AINP

has issued more than 3,200 nominations so far in 2015
has approximately 9,000 applications that need to be assessed to determine if the application is eligible for a nomination

total number start to drop down to 9000,
Food and Beverage Processing Industry down 50
Hotel & Lodging Industry down 50
Manufacturing Industry down 30
Compulsory & Optional Trades Category down 50

I don't think those industry the application has increased a lot, so AINP process those 4 sectors mainly between August 10 to August 24, the rest of certificates are given to both Skilled Worker Category, International Graduate Category and Post-Graduate Worker Category and Engineering Occupations Category, the number is about 150 to 200 !

My employer is not willing to apply for LMIA. No company would want to do that. unless they are paying me really shitty money.

My company mentioned that they would apply for LMIA if necessary. I have an open work permit so I didn't need it. My salary is $92,000/year. What's your NOC? fast food related?

Hello everyone, just registered today to share my timeline. Hoping it would help someone in the same situation.

AINP Application: March 20, 2014
NOC: 1221 Office Administrator [Employer Driven]
File #: June 13, 2014
Information request via email: August 10, 2015
Contacted employer via phone: August 17, 2015
Nomination Issued: August 18, 2015
Work Permit Expiring: October, 2015

Other than the nomination they also sent a letter of support for a work permit extension and LMIA exemption which you can choose to use if you don't have an LMIA or plan to apply to CIC immediately because if you have a CIC file number you can apply for a bridging work permit with that.

**You can't use this nomination for selection from the Express Entry

hope that was informative, Good luck everyone. Wish you all the best.

Congrats and thanks for sharing.

So the general idea that i get from these timelines:
they issue nominations close to the wp expiry dates.
usually takes more than 6 months.
anyone here who applied less than 4 months on their wp?
