NOTICE – EMAIL SCAM ALERT
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is warning individuals of fraudulent emails in which the individual identifies themselves as an AINP representative to collect personal information with a Gmail account.

The Alberta Government does not use email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. The official email will always come from a @gov.ab.ca account.

Anyone who receives a suspicious email should contact their local police and report the incident to the Immigrate to Alberta Information Service at 1-877-427-6419 (toll-free) or by email at immigration.info@gov.ab.ca.

this what they update today!

I think it was there a few days ago. They just brought it back. They are playing around because they do not know what to do and they want paid without working.

Hello, anyone who knows the link how to sponsor a sister from the Philippines to Alberta. thank you so much.

They should atleast finish the backlog first before implementing new rules and rules and rules. Its tiring. I think ill be ending up in a mental institution bec of the Mental and emotional torture theyre doin.

So...since there is no update, that means they are still accepting new applications...there is a bunch of people leaving soon and they are accepting new ones?? Does it make any sense? Where is a common sense in all this crap?

do we have someone work permit expires in this month and waiting for long time ( process time is reached) ? if AINP give nomination to them, may be they follow the process time, if let them WP expire , they may follow the new rules which post on their website before.

I think they are going through applications and picking and choosing the ones they want based on labor market, etc and they will be sending out mass letters to people telling them about application not successful because of expired work permits. Then come April the 1st, there will be some changes to AINP. They are busy working on the new system
