i called up ainp this morning to check on the status of my application. still waiting to be processed and was told that the processing time may change again.

I think so. By the end of this month they will distribute around 2700 nominations and will again start cherry picking the applicants.
Now I do not have any mood of writing/saying to AINP. if they nominate me, I will take it. if not, god will open other big doors. I do not know why I am feeling relieved without getting nominations these days.

i sacrificed a lot for this ainp nomination thing but i think i wont get it anytime soon or maybe not anymore. they are just playing with us. God bless them.

Ok, actually feel better now, ok, I guess I will get my study permit then get a degree and surely move to another province.

My husband faxed AINP today to remove his file. He is no longer happy with the current situation. He will just finish his WP this December and go home. Almost all of his workmates are returning home. He will be the last one to go home with his WP expiring this December. I just would like to ask, how long does it take for AINP office to return his documents after faxing them?

I've applied the Ainp last month. According to the tracking number, they received my mail on 11 February 2015.

However, until now, I haven't received anything. No file number, no confirmation email.

Is it normal? I am really anxious right now. Was there any same cases like me before? How long should I received the file number or confirmation email?

When I applied back in Feb 2014, it took 2 days for a confirmation email and 2 months for a file #

I applied Dec 19 2014 and received email Jan 13 2015 so it is about a month.

Hey hi.. I got my nomination on February 17 and my work permit expired on February 20. I got the confirmation letter on my hand on February 26, since cos I was not in the address I mentioned to AINP. So I applied for an extension of work permit by paper on February 18 without knowing that I got nomination and that file was received by the CIC on the same my work permit expired. Now I have the letter of nomination. I called cic today to update. They said you can't initiate applying for extension with just the AINP file number and they also said that they can't find my extension file. Please help. What should I do now?

We are on the same boat, Can I know which number did you call CIC? my work permit expired on Feb 13, sent application to renew on Feb 5th in order to get the implied status, than get nomination letter on Feb 9th, I called AINP, the officer said the letter is ok to apply for the closed work permit as far as you have the job offer, they will not issue support letter unless CIC ask for it with the official notice by paper.
