Hi guys.. What's up with EDS-Skilled category? My hubby applied last Dec 2014, and still no file number. His WP is expiring, although he is not yet in the 4 year cap. Is there any hope for this? Is that the trend nowadays? What's up with CIC? Are they on a game of chance or something? This is really frustrating. We don't know what to do and we are losing hope and faith in these guys.

See in my case, i got promoted B category in ocotober. But i am not updating my file becasue i heard from this forum that they are not touching EDS skilled
Please someone advise, if i should go for this or not.

I think you should update anyway, cause it's not like your salary has increased by a couple of hundred $. Its your NOC that has changed, and if they call you, you may have a problem.

My CEC file is return to me today, cap filled, I don't know what to say, one year ago , all CEC and AINP are work for me, right now, it seen my Canadian dream is ending .. 17 months left.. everyday I CAN'T sleep ..what they did for my life !

That means we are done. It is better to get a training for wielder. That is a sure shot for AINP nomination

one girl called up ainp and the officer told her to find lmia bec shes not eligible for 1 year bwp and she applied nov 2013. its not that easy to get lmia! whoaaa

Yep most information we got in a year about this program is from this article..
Most pathetic thing is if they dont want other ppl then why they are still taking applications from other occupations too..atleast let them know wht they expect...
Why did they lie to us when we made call in the begging of the year and they said there is no prefered occupations and they are processing according to timeline posted..

Well i think this is end of our canadian dream... :'(

Cheaters, what kind of government is this?
If they cannot or do not want then let the applicant know. But do not cheat by hiding the information. it is not a part of a game. It is a real life every applicant is facing.

that im not pretty sure. she just mentioned she called up ainp bec shes just on her 3rd year here and expiring in april but was told to look for lmia.
