Legit :)
Then I have a cpl of question.
- Have you see this "small" news somewhere else?
- Is it posted on any other website?
- Why can not see this among the parliament news?
- Did you see this "not a big deal" action on the mentioned politics facebook page?

Many other questions are open what makes u doubt about this news. :(
ooooooooh is it secret yet? then I'm so sorry

how can you be so sure? this will generate a huge scandal around Canada, giving 1 year work permit without LMIA to some applicants in Alberta, while thousand of other foreign workers al over Canada are in the same situation is hard to believe they will do this....

i called to the AINP and a few of my friends did too, and the officer said that eligible applicants will recive a letter with all the further steps on how to obtain a bridging work permit. Shi said they don't know exactly how it will work tho. Chill out people. I'm not eligible tho, I aplied in August and no good news for me, my work permit expires in two month, and looks like I'm going back to Ukraine after 5 years in Canada. That will be a shock lol

well...how would you feel to have a LMIA for 2 years and apply for a new work permit but because you reach 4 years in April they would give you 4 more months out of 24...while other applicants without LMIA will get 1 year work permit just because they applied AINP in June instead August...

Its true but the news is not yet publish but some consultants already got a copy of the provision. States that those TFW's who were under the cumulative duration period will be given a 1yr BWP which is LMIA exempted jst for theperod of 1 yr due to AINP's backlog, i believe some low skilled candidates were also under the said provision but as I understand it there were qualifications which were not stated yet. So lets just wait what will happen. Ask your employer if they already recieve a call and wait for the mails to arrive

if anybody receives any kind of communication from AINP related to the letter, please post here. That would be very helpfull for future move. if I get an email from AINP, I will also do the same. My application was received in Feb /2014 and PGWP expires in August 2015.

According to the letter if true, I would be getting an email from them soon.

I dont want to be sarcastic but may i ask u what did u do for 5 years? why did u apply just after 4 years? u thought canada will say ohh hey pal here is the PR just for because ?

I came 2013 . since im here im struggling for PR as a cook . now it looked like i can go through express entry finally . then i saw the first draw... LOL ... there is no chance to get the PR with my 403 points. now we have barely 2 months left. my wife has applied for AINP last year april and the office said to us get a new LMIA because we will not get the nomination before our work permit expires. thx... now i dont know what to do ... my daughter is 5 years old and she doesnt want to go back home either .I was paramedic over there (hungary) and i got ridiculous money for it . we can have better future here and now our dreams and plans look like getting over.... well thats a shock my friend

Everyone has a different situation. Ive been here for 5 years too and was only able to apply for PR a year go so you don't have to be so sarcastic.
