So, apparently, the number of nominations allocated to Alberta for 2015 will stay the same - 5,500. Don't ask me where I got this info...

It is a blog i came accross today....it is not on the oficial website....that is why i was a bit skeptical when reading the article.....

But if Phil has got some info about this too i guess it might be true....

i saw that news before, both BC and Alberta want to double the number of nomination, but the Alberta got denied..but this news is not right now, i think it was at end of 2013 or begin of 2014 when they got a lot of applications. 2015 CIC allocation nomination cap for the AINP has yet to be announced. i know total number for all PNP is 48000 in 2015, but we do not know how much for AINP..i guess will be close to 2014, but some of AINP applications will go through with CIC's EE, in other words, AINP will use some quota from EE !!

Right not the total number of nominations is around 22,000 (see page 19). And if the 48,000 is true, then it's almost a double figure...I don't know...

this is 2013's number, 2014 is around 44000 to 47000 ~ ... some province got double number in 2014, AINP got denied, still the same as 2013..Manitoba got double in 2014, right now its bigger one! around 12000 ~~

Even if you double the number for the rest of the provinces, it comes up to roughly 38,000..so there should be a slight increase for Alberta...I hope...

I think they are trying to force people to move to SK and MB cos no one wants to live there ...... god damn Canada Govt that screwed people who are in AB .... :'(

What makes you think, no one wants to live there? I think everyone in this situation would move anywhere in Canada, just to stay here. If only it was that easy...
