Hello everyone,

Finally I got my nomination certificate today
I'll post my timeline again just incase if it can help someone.
Application received- Dec 3, 2013
Got my file number on March 10, 2014
Got an email for work permit extention on April 15, 2014
Called AINP a few months ago asking for status and got told that it would take 8-12 months.
My employer got a verification call on Oct 6, 2014 and the officer also asked for a document as it got expired. My employer sent the document the same day.
GOT MY NOMINATION CERTIFICATE TODAY OCT 15, 2014.
Im very happy that I finally got it after 10 freaken months.
I hope everyone gets it because we all are deserving and hardworking people.

My eployer had no idea we needed that but asa ainp officer asked my employer. He got the wcb ac right away. Better talk wid ur employer as it is mandatory to have it.

WCB is NOT mandatory for all industries. Some are exempt. You better check the WCB web site and find out if your industry is exempt or your employer requires the coverage.

Yeah you are right. One doesn't need wcb if working in care giving, farming , advertising ann so on

We have the same situation. My family is not included in my nomitanion. there is no depentant information as well on my nomination. I e mailed my
officer this morning, her reply is my family is included in my nomination. Then, I email her again and ask her why my family is not included in my nomination. I'm still waiting for her response. try to call the ainp hotline tommorow and please share some of their thoughts.

Hi guys. I'm posting in this thread for the first time because it's the first time I've heard back from AINP since I got the file number back in March.

Here is my timeline:

Stream: Employer Driven/Skilled worker
NOC: 2174
App reveived: Dec 23rd
File No.: March 19th (280**)
Requested additional documents: Oct 16th

They requested a copy of the current work permit and copy of post secondary education documents. I hope when I send them I'll hear back from them soon
