so what will happen to us who's work permit expiring july??do we have to leave the country?

it is a good question and seems nobody know the answer. Prepare to apply for anything to CIC that will give you implied status and borrow sometime.

Get a letter from your employer stating that you would be hired once PR approved through AINP etc. the goal is to stick within canada not to get Work Permit. if they give, take it. If not, you would be in implied status until the decision is made. so use paper application that gives more time to stay here.

Check this out guys! Note:
Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) processing times are subject to change without notice. The information here regarding processing times is the most recent. These changes are effective as of June 5, 2014.

The AINP is authorized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to issue a maximum of 5,500 nomination certificates during the 2014 calendar year.
As of the end of May, the AINP has issued close to half of its maximum nomination certificates for 2014.
You may continue to submit applications to the streams and categories currently accepting applications.
It may take between 8 and 12 months (from the date an application was received) for the AINP to complete assessments for any applications received since November 26, 2013.
Once the AINP reaches the maximum nomination certificates it can issue in 2014, further certificates can be issued only in 2015.
Submitting an application to the AINP does not guarantee a nomination. Program officers carefully review eligibility.
Visit our website regularly for updates to the AINP and to processing times.
We know that foreign workers face many challenges when planning for permanent residence. However, there are more people interested in the AINP than there are nomination certificates available. This can lead to delays in processing times. We appreciate your patience.

We applied on 27 nov ! Holy cow
One day man !

Being November 5th applicant, I dont think i am lucky. Because I already finished 7 months of waiting and still waiting for nomination.
Then what is the point to say applications received after November 26 take 8-12 months for processing.

But how come they approved some applicants in April 2014 who applied in January 2014. Now they are putting a hook in Nov 26 what kind of timeline is this? We can just control our frustration by drinking hot water :D. what a crap situation we are going through. Never thought of that

They put you within 8-12 months range without saying so. Because they know applicants before Nov 26 are already in their seven months no need to mention in their website. it is implied. The boundary date is smartly placed.

just yesterday one of my friend's friend got his nomination in three months and I was shocked but happy and hopeful at the same time that I might get it as well soon because he had applied few days before me al though his category was skilled (technician) n mine is semi skilled, but I saw this bad news today. My WP is expiring in 1st week of august n I applied in feb ,so I guess I am pretty much done with Canada. I should start packing my bags soon . Its freaking so stress full. :(
All the best to all other people who still have some time with their Work permits.

I am angry at AINP program
I think they should just let us know their decision ASAP
Not keep accepting more applications and then keep extend the time length for all AINP applicants
