Application was received on Feb 3rd in my case and I got the file number on 23rd March.
Hopefully I should hear something from them very soon.

Anyone got nomination under EDS NOC 6211 WHO APPLIED IN AUGUST 2014 ?

I applied on AUG 1,2014 under EDS NOC 1525
PGWP is expiring on July 17,2016.

I've heard that AINP officers work on applications based on NOC codes and not just date received i.e they work on certain types of NOC codes during a time frame and then switch to other codes.

How true is that?? :-X Does that mean that applicants with wp expiry dates coming up soon can hope for a call from an officer? :-[

They donot care if the work permit is expiring. There is no relations

Help ! I need some clarification and could really use your feedback.

I graduated from UofC with a bachelors in mechanical engineering. It looks like Ainp is the easier way to get my PR compared o EE.

Now once I get a full time engineering job as an engineer in training, can I apply through the engineering occupations Srs or am only eligible to apply through the post graduate srs.

I could really use some advice, seeing as how there are less applications for the engineering occupations srs.

I am on my post grad work permit now, and it expires sometime in 2019.

srs engineering occupation category. dont think about any other options. this is the safest and quickest way. I applied through the engineering occupation category and received nomination within 6 months.

thanks for getting back to me. How long did the whole process take you? From sending in your application to AINP, getting nominated and finally getting a PR? got any tips for me?

ainp approved May 17
I got letter in my mail box and I opened my mail box today afternoon
Applied SRS post graduate 1221 (office administrator)
No one calls me , just got approval...
