Yes it's crazy and absolutely not fair. People, look for other options asap. This AINP is a complete chaos.ksiusha said:So, now we can't even trust what is written on the website ...It turned into a lottery with aprox 3000 nominations left. Wish good luck to everybody!

August 2014 ainp said:my work permit expired in june 2015 i applied in august 2014 noc 6211 srs pgwp.my employer applied for lmia but didn,t get it yet.anybody in a similar situation like me any idea what ainp will do to my application they will reject it or give me some time for lmia any idea guys
You can forget about AINP without valid wp. chances for LMIA are extremly slim for your NOC.
Did you buy some time by applying for work permit extension?August 2014 ainp said:my work permit expired in june 2015 i applied in august 2014 noc 6211 srs pgwp.my employer applied for lmia but didn,t get it yet.anybody in a similar situation like me any idea what ainp will do to my application they will reject it or give me some time for lmia any idea guys
Your wp expires in Mar 2016,hence technically it is not expiring anytime soon.I really hope they do consider Wp expiry date but it's highly unlikely as there are many applicants who haven't received their AINP even close to their wp expiry date.jojo0773 said:Probably based on NOC code?
I am not sure.

No, it's not a lottery system, in fact they have a clear system and that is if your NOC is interesting/needed/underrepresented you will receive the certificate, even though you're already in your final stages of PR application (see previous post). I also doubt that AINP is giving certificates for expired work permits. That was maybe possible before, lets say a year and a half ago but defs not now. In fact, for the first six months of this year AINP was giving out nominations based on wp expiry. Short and brutal conclusion: if they want you, they'll give you a certificate, otherwise they'll allow for your wp to expire and for you to try to extend your stay as much as possible, pay taxes, contribute toba canadian company, and all that based on false hope and wrong opinions like getting a certificate is like winning a lottery, so far from reality.August 2014 ainp said:some people in this forum got their ainp with expired work permit.it is a lottery system now.
