Guys I just heard from my friend that somebody who applied in January 2014 as front desk clerk got the call from ainp to submit his wp. And one more guy got the call from ainp to submit his wp and this guy applied in Feb 2014 in some different noc. Not in retail and not in food. Something very different now on b category.

What do you mean to submit the WP, like to show that they are still having a status and their work permit is not expired?

Hmmm...they are picking up applications then...those they like they nominate before the work permit expires, those they don't they ask for new work permit knowing it is so hard to get one these days...... :(

iv read in the other forum that somebody received ainp cert. He is a retail supervisor. The agent he spoke with said that 10,000 applicants are still waiting to be processed and theyre just selecting those who will be given cert. My goodness, good luck to all of us..
they are adding up applicants from Nov 2013 to upto yesterday and making 10000 applicants in total. that is an illogical argument. if they think 10000 a big number to take care, then stop taking applications and stop serving false hope to us.

It's funny how they refer you to the processing times on the website when we already know that the processing times are no longer legit...Isn't it ridiculous.

It doesnt matter how many applications they have b/c the fact is half of the ppl never going to get nominated b/c of expired WP...we know it and they know it...i m sure i m one of them..
If they really cared they know tht out of 10000 applications 3400 are EDS skilled and if not all 3000 have +LMIA which means almost PR for them...i understand if their WP expiring soon then its different thing..
Lmia ppl getting through EE, ainp nominating semi skilled and bunch of random ppl..so in sort if u r under EDS-IGC and ur NOC is not super cool for them and u r almost going home..
Well have made my plans not going to stick around for while..as soon as i get admission in uni. For my masters i m outta here...too much strees here i dont think i can handle this frustration any longer..
I hope new grads read all our comments so they dont fall for this trap...

What??!! It took a whole year for engineer category! :( :( :( :(

I thought that category should be priority.

The NOC is not on Engineering Occupation Category list, so it was actually fast :)

Mario you are right......I am currently in Alberta, have a day job and part-time evening job with GOA...social worker by day .....crisis worker by evening I am a PGWP holder I have put in an application for PNP, but I do not have high hopes . My plan is to work save money and go back to university in Vancouver or US, not going to waste my time on these folks unless they get it together here

How come do some people from December 2013 and on start receiving their nomination if ainp hasn't done with November application? I have a friend he s November 2013 applicant, eds, he s still waiting, hasn't heard a word from ainp.

they do not need any NOCs that do not attract them. in the future, once they do not have enough applicants to fill 5500 nominations then they might look at those NOCs. until then thank you very much, have a nice day in AB.
