I read from the AINP-Pinoy forum that another applicant got his nomination today under AWE category file was submitted November his work permit is expiring tomorrow. So AWE applicants dnt lose hope
 
Someone from AWE Nov 28, 2013 applicants received a nomination certificate. I just saw the message in Pinoy Facebook page

Next step is BOWP as my work permit is expiring on March 13,

I was worried too. But i took a chance.. And absolutely didn't affect in any way.. I sent them a detailed explanation on why I switched my job along with my new job offer after 1 month, when the officer started processing she asked me submitt new forms and job contract along with pay stubs and i got my nomination after a month

Effective immediately, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) has reduced the number of months a semi-skilled worker in the Food and Beverage Processing Industry needs to be employed in Alberta to qualify to apply to the AINP. Candidates who work in one of the eligible food and beverage processing occupations are now eligible to apply after being employed in Alberta for a minimum of three months.

Review the Semi-Skilled Worker criteria for complete details.

exactly. i submitted my application nov 2013, until now, no news. why cant they finish the backlogs first.
 
I mean the processing times for food and beverage workers are already 25 months or i am missing smth??

Food and Beverage Processing Industry

Estimated processing time if your application was received by the AINP:
On or before June 20, 2014: at least 12 - 14 months from the date your application was received
Between July and August 2014 (inclusive): at least 14 - 18 months from the date your application was received
September 1, 2014 and after: at least 19 months from the date your application was received
