REMEMBER GUYS !! THEY UPDATED THIS IN 2014 WHICH IS STILL THERE :

AINP has traditionally operated on a first-come-first-served basis. For the rest of 2014, the remaining nomination certificates will be issued based on labour market information and industry general averages in recent years. This approach is fair because it means that more industries will be supported by the program. However, it does mean that some applications in sectors which have already received high levels of support will not be processed this year.
yep so u never know how and when we will get nomination...

well, I think they have rules and you can call and ask about FIFO.....they will tell you for sure...last Dec before I got mine I called and they told me

Doesn't it say "For the rest of 2014, the remaining nomination certificates will be issued based on labour market information and industry general averages in recent years"

I don't think this applies to 2015

wht rules?? u mean how they process filles tht rule?? last year they were using FIFO for each category untill october 17th.

With the falling oil prices, their labour market demand reports will be fu**ed up so there is no sense to pick only engineers

I'm dec 2013 applicant as well, I called d ainp just now,she told me they processed according to our processing months ... Mine is 13-15 months, so I have to stick on it.. So it's means FIFO is not an issue..
I guess..

You got it because starting from October, 2014, they've been processing files based on labour market demand.
