Can someone confirm, if one gets a nomination can they apply through Express Entry and claim the 600 points or is there a whole different procedure?
If you receive a nomination you MUST apply on paper. Why do you need the 600 points if you are more than half way through to be approved ?flavdcosta said:Can someone confirm, if one gets a nomination can they apply through Express Entry and claim the 600 points or is there a whole different procedure?
There is a difference between waiting 6 months in EE and 17 months!!! paper application. We have already been waiting for a year!!susana said:If you receive a nomination you MUST apply on paper. Why do you need the 600 points if you are more than half way through to be approved ?
You can always register in EE and pray for nomination through EE.Phil89 said:There is a difference between waiting 6 months in EE and 17 months!!! paper application. We have already been waiting for a year!!
I meant to say that we should be able to claim 600 points with our nominations.MONKUCHA said:You can always register in EE and pray for nomination through EE.
By this you will cause that others have a smaller chance for invitations. With old way nominations you can apply by paper and even though it takes almost 1,5 year to process you have the same chance to get pr than others. You will be accepted or rejected it will just take a longer time. Applying through paper you can bridge your work permit if needed. Some people have smaller chances to get invitations only because their employers don't support LMIA or they have no chance to get nominations but they can be a good addition to Canadian economic.Phil89 said:I meant to say that we should be able to claim 600 points with our nominations.
No, sorry after people getting nominations in 10 days, I don't think we can talk about fairness anymore.MONKUCHA said:By this you will cause that others have a smaller chance for invitations. I think that it is fear. I don't understand why people are *censored word*ing at the system.
Ok it take long time to get nomination but nobody forbids you to register in EE. Just give others the same chance.

I haven't missed anything. The AINP wants us to work for the same employer during the entire PR application. Once you loose your job, they may revoke your nomination. BTW, you no longer can get BOWP with your certificate, because the AINP puts your employer information on the certificate, so CIC will only give you the closed work permit, and again if you loose your job you automatically loose your permit and PR.MONKUCHA said:You missed a point
Yes, you missed a point, I was talking about 600 points in EE not about a whole process of nomination.Phil89 said:I haven't missed anything. If I can use EE and get it in 6 months, we should be able to do it.MONKUCHA said:Yes, you missed a point, I was talking about 600 points in EE not about a whole process of nomination.
I totally agree with youPhil89 said:If I can use EE and get it in 6 months, we should be able to do it.
