I have been away in this forum for a while as I was so stress out waiting for good news.
Good news is at LAST< all those days, weeks of anticipation, finally. Jan 8 received thru mail the news. AINP approved nomination..

However, on the top right portion that says: FOR CIC USE ONLY, it says, worker-NO JOB OFFER written.What does it mean? Anyone, can enlighten me on these?I know for a fact that i dont need an LMO if applying for work permit, is that right?

A friend of mine who have same situation where HE is ask to submit additional documents. Tell your friend, to submit it soon. With regards to nomination, think positive.

Glad to hear that you already have your nomination. It just means that we don't need a Job Offer or LMO when applying for a work permit, but I've also heard that we can also apply for an open-work permit when we have a nomination from the AINP but I have not yet confirm it with the CIC. You said that you work in Canmore, right? I also worked there for a year but was transferred here in Jasper after my work permit expires.

It just means that we don't need a Job Offer or LMO when applying for a work permit, but I've also heard that we can also apply for an open-work permit when we have a nomination from the AINP but I have not yet confirm it with the CIC. You said that you work in Canmore, right? I also worked there for a year but was transferred here in Jasper after my work permit expires.

Did you friend get his nomination? For me I hope to hear something from the office. I got my file number since 31st of OCT and nothing since then.

I will let you know about the open work permit when I confirm it with CIC. Meanwhile, I have not yet submitted my application to CIO coz I am still waiting for my NBI Clearance. But perhaps I would still submit my application without my NBI If it will take me longer to receive it. Regarding the reference letter you have mentioned, we don't need to submit any documents other than stated in the Document Checklist. We don't even need to submit Bank Certificate or Certificate of Employment, Pay Stubs etc. This was confirmed to me by my friend who's now a Permanent Resident. But just prepare your additional supporting documents just in case they need something from you. In my case, I will also do the same. Just keep in touch!
