Is there any chance for NOC 1241, with a CRS score of 417?
Many nominations have come and gone, I haven't received any notification of interest.
Maybe because of no connection to Alberta or whole of Canada whatsoever.
What's you guys' take on this?

Looks like FN received Feb 10th by you @ansh2309 and @ainp2020. And Feb 11th by @wjillm. Great news everyone! Mine came through essentially the same time on Fri Feb 7th. It basically just said “this is to confirm receipt of your AINP expression of interest package on 2/3/2020” then links to T&Cs. Did yours say the same?

I sent an additional document, as my long awaited second ECA from WES finally arrived that Friday too. This was because my CRS in EE then increased. I wanted to make sure they had all the information might need when get round to reviewing my EOI. Send on Sat 8th as next day but for some reason didn’t arrive until Wed 12th (Canada Post!).

It’s a public holiday in Alberta on Mon Feb 17th, so don’t expect any news before Tuesday at the earliest!

There seems to be a lot of applicants and success with 1241. Even as recently as Oct/Nov 2019. Now it is on the medium need list (for 2018-2020) and high demand list (don’t know since when). The high demand listing can reduce your chance of getting NOI according to what AINP say online.

We don’t know how the AINP algorithm works to send NOI messages through Express Entry profile, but it’s presumably automated. Otherwise I don’t understand why you’d need to send proof of having received NOI with EOI when apply. From reading posts, would imagine it considers mainly your NOC, then also: your CRS (unclear if it’s the score or just if >/<300 that matters), your connections to Alberta (work, job offer, education, family) and time until your EE profile expires. Maybe it makes some kind of hidden score ... who knows?! So perhaps people with this NOC are only currently hearing if they also have connections. You can search forums for “1241 Alberta” for the latest.

Forgive me for saying, but make sure you’ve checked that you’d want to hear from Alberta for PNP on your EE profile. It’s just that some people have not realised they had to, then wondered why they’d not heard! Sounds like it’s fine to check any number of provinces or for any province.

Yeah, nothing so far. But I got my file number for Alberta Express on Feb11. I was really surprised when I got my NOI - cook, CRS 363. Didn't see that coming. But I have all my Canadian experience from Alberta and a job offer too. Hopefully, they won't let me hang in the process as they have a lot of cooks applying for AINP.

Interesting. I haven't really seen any other cooks get a NOI

My file# on CEC stream issued on Jan 16, NOC code 6313, CRS 380.
I have a degree in Ontario and currently working in Alberta since last Jan.
My agent said I do not need a job offer since I am already working in Alberta.
Do you think I have a chance of getting NOI? I am so painfully waiting and waiting.

make sure you’ve checked that you’d want to hear from Alberta for PNP on your EE profile.

Checked this while creating the profile, and do recheck it everytime I log into the profile to see anything new. Online since September 2019. There have been some draws, I thought the profile was rather new, that's why no notification yet.


I'll go through 1241 NOC threads for a clearer picture.

When did you enter the EE pool ? I did see lots of NOI being sent out to NOC 1241, even for outland applicants with CRS over 400.

No news on my side. I got an email from them today regarding AOS - withdraw upon my request. I checked AINP websites and they haven't issued any NOI since 29th Jan. I guess we all have to hope for the better news upcoming week.
