Hi everyone,

Could anyone please tell me if I need to attach IMM 5257 schedule 1 form with visit visa application? This application is for a young person who hasn't worked anywhere yet or been involved at a governmental, military or organizational level.

Thanks in advance

SA

Yes you will need to fill and attach that along with your application. It is the requirement. even though you will be selecting the "NO" option for most of the questions you have to send that with your application. You need to send everything mentioned in the checklist for applicants applying from Pakistan.

Hope this helps.

I re applied for a spouse TRV today.....I pray for any positive outcome this time :(

Everyone pls pray for me.

This time i have showed intended dates of return (from April to May) because of job responsibilities. and i have written that my husband and i will be heading back to our home country after he finishes his studies. (that was his initial object in the student visa application).
Furthermore, this time i have taken the responsibility of bearing all the living and traveling expenses. and have shown over $30K in my current accounts. and have cut down the duration of stay. from 13 months to around 2 months. Also , in the employer letter i have mentioned the intended dates of return to office....

Unaseem & irusum.... please pray...! as we haven't even applied for any immigration. if my husband applies for his immigration in a canadian experience class and includes my name in the spouse section, are we gonna get it at the same time? or i would still have to wait for years until he gets his own?

Please advise.

Regards,
Hiba

Why didn't you apply for a visa along with your husband's student visa, they normally give you a resident visa valid for the entire duration of your spouse's study permit. It would have saved you from applying for TRV over and over.

As for your husband applying for immigration from within Canada(skilled program), the major requirements are: 1) Have a degree from a Canadian university and 2) Have 2 years of Post-Grad work experience in Canada, hopefully by that time you're in Canada, so then you two can apply together for PR.

I a, also hoping this time you should be able to get visa since you have reduced the time you will be spending in Canada - Wish you the best of luck and do keep us all posted with your progress.

The amount you are showing is more than enough in your bank account and I am guessing your husband's parents, siblings etc and yours live here in pak? Tht should be a strong case to prove that you hve strong ties here (in pk).

Good Luck!

Hi shaznaz,

I couldn't apply at that time because we weren't married......i got married in Oct 2011. And yes our families are settled out here in Pakistan.

Lets see what happens next. I really wanna meet my husband soon.

94 days for the passport would suggest that she got it.

Do they normally take this long...what about ppl who have been to canada like 3-4 times?
