Hello everyone. I am currently in the process of applying for my citizenship but I got a couple questions that I'm hoping that some of you may know the answers and can help me out.

1. Since our days before receiving positive decision doesn’t count towards citizenship days, should I still include the date between I got Refugee Claimant Document and my decision day?

2. Is the date between getting the Refugee Claimant Document and Hearing Day considered as Temporary resident permit holder?

I greatly appreciate any input regarding these questions.

You can count from the date on your NOD.

You count from when you got your positive decision. and before you claimed refugee if you had a visitor visa if it applies. refugee claimants are not temporary residents. they are just refugee claimants so it doesn't count at all.

Thanks a lot. If my visitor visa was a 4 years visa, does it loose its validity the day I become a refugee claimant? I'm asking this because on the calculator it asks for the date it got expired and I am not quite sure whether I should type in the actual expiry date on my visa or the day before I became the refugee claimant.
