on that list you keep posting it does not include when "applying for citizenship", so yes they can ask for it and no one is exempt. only ircc knows the reason they ask some fingerprint and not others.. or what triggers a fingerprint request.

i don't think the processing time for protected person pr will be reduced significantly anytime soon. even before covid it was around the 24 month mark with some applications completed under that or more than 2 years .

they cannot add spouse to pr application after the fact. should have been included when applying intially.. they will need to do in land spousal sponsorship or she has work permit she can go through that route to get pr and she techinally not refugee dependent especially if she wasn't included...

you won't be adding her to your pr. it is too late for that.. you either need to do in-land spousal sponsor seperately or she gets pr through other routes

pr cards have hyphens. for uci and names.

you were supposed to let them know after the ceremony so you could return the paper certificate to the judge or clerk. at in person oaths you automatically receiver paper.

Since she is 16 she is required to be in canada to attend and take the oath. you can hope she gets it before the 29th or you can ask for it to be rescheduled again. via the oath invite the instructions are in the email.

people just post the day they get oath update on tracker or when they get oath ceremony email.

you can also call to find out if you can. thats what i did and i was told the type of ceremony, date and location and time. i only had a ghost update on my tracker.. i had not gotten the oath email and ceremony was still "not started"... tracker update and oath email was the next day after i called.
