Hello everyone,

Could someone please help me to clarify some questions.

A - i'm resident of canada since December 2013 . Before that i had 2 work permit. i realise that there is a gab of one month between them. First one : 09 0ct 2012 to 09 oct 2013 and the second 08 nov 2013 to
08 nov 2015.
Also my date of eligibility is : 2012/12/11 to 2017/12/11 ( i hope to apply tomorrow)

1) So , in the questions 9b . i will enter the exact date of my 2 work permit but there is a gad of 1 month between them... what should i do ? i was working in montreal in the same job waiting for my new work permit from cic.

2) Same pb in the calculator so they ask :

Please list only the periods for which you had temporary resident status or protected person status in Canada and the type of status you had between 2012-12-11 and 2013-12-22 and choose ` `Add entry``. Select `` Continue '' when you have finished listing all periods of temporary residence.

I filled out :
2012-12-11 to 2013-10-09 worker
2013-11-08 to 2013-12-22 Worker

is that correct ? or i will have a problem because of the gab of 1 month?

B- Question 6. i never change my name since my birth . do i need to enter my full name again a put birth name or not?

C- Question 9c : i noticed that this question is confusing for some people including me .
i never lived outside canada since my period of eligibility (2012-12-11 to today ) but i've been outside the country many time for vacation . i took some vacation for 2 month , 1 month and again 2 month in my country of origin and other vacation for a week or 2 in europe .

So my question is because i traveld several times for a long period of 2 month ... do i need to chek Yes or no in Q-9c ? and if i chek yes do i need to add the adress of my parent house in Q 10 ?

PS : i mention all the holidays in the calculator.

D- Question 11 . i've been unemployed for the last year , what is the best way to enter the information in each box ?

E - Question 13 . i'm citizen of my country of origin only. do i need to enter 'in force and my date of birth' ?

Thank you

Thank you so much! @spyfy

A) If you asked for your new work visa before the first one ended (very probable...), you were on implied status and as such were still a worker during that gap month.
You can put a single entry in both question 9b and the presence calculator, and add a separate paper where you quickly explain your situation.

B) Yep, include your current name and birth date :)

C) You only have to list the places where you resided (worked, studied...), not your vacations, even for 2 months. If you consider that you "lived" in your home country, like in a situation where you'll stay 2 months there, with a one week trip back to Canada and again 2 months in your home country, you should probably put it there. If it was simply your annual home trip, well, it's a holiday and you maintained your residence in Canada. Common sense in regard to your trips and your situation should prevail here.

D) Just write unemployed, with your home address, and put n.a. In the reference / reference mail box.

E) Yes!

Good luck with your application :)
