Hi all,

I have set up my EE profile on April 21, 2019 . My current score is 432, 3 month later, on august, 2019, my score will increase to 445 (due to my 2 years Canadian experience, working in Ontario). My question is how can I qualify for Notification of Interest (NOI) as my EE profile said I met the criteria of CEC and FSW. Also, I was wondering if anyone know the CRS score will drop this year, base on the draw history in this year, it seems like the range were staying between 450-455. Due to my post-grad work permit will expire next year July, 2020, I really need to get my PR status as soon as possible. It would be greatly appreciate if anyone can give me some advise.

Thanks,

Bryan

Your score is too low to get an Invitation to Apply, unless you get an invitation to apply before your work permit expires. You still have plenty of time in your work permit so that will give you plenty of time to find a way to increase your score.

432 is definitely not going to get you anywhere. If it increases to 445 you might have a chance but again, it's still too low to guarantee any ITA soon. You'll most likely be in the pool for at least several months.

The cut-off score has gone lower this year (January), but again there are many provinces who have started granting provincial nominations and once those people are in the cut-off score will just go up.

Sit tight and wait

Thank you very much for your advice. Base on my research, the only way to increase my score is to improve my ielts score, to be honest with you, I have wrote these tests for more than 5 times. I still couldn’t get to the extremely high score. But I have reach to the minimum CLB7. My question is do I have a chance to get NOI in my case? I look at the requirement and the people who get it before, their crs score are staying above 400-435 and they still get the NOI for CEC and FSW after few days and weeks later.

NOIs are issued by provincial programs, based on their own criteria.

For example, to get an NOI under the Ontario Express Entry program, you would have to indicate that you are interested in settling in Ontario. There have been no NOIs from Ontario recently under the Human Capital Priorities stream since January, tho, because they are doing targeted calls for their other streams.

Depending on which Province you are interested in , you will have to read their criteria and make sure your profile meets those criteria.
