I was in Ukraine last month and met a lovely woman and we started dating. Since I got back to Canada, we have been talking on Skype daily and getting along very well. We would like her to come visit me in Vancouver, Canada and meet my friends and family.
I am wondering about her chances of getting accepted for a TRV. Here is the details of the visit we wish to apply for:
* Visit is only one week long. She has two children who will be staying behind with relatives in Ukraine.
* She can provide the birth certificates of her two children as proof she intends to return.
* She does not have a job or a lot of money. She can not provide any proof of financial incentive to return.
* I have a good job with a good income and have had it for a long time. I can provide details of financial support as her sponsor.
* I have a friend who's wife is an immigration lawyer. They will help me with the paperwork so that everything is submitted as best as possible.
Of course, we have no question that she will return. She will not abandon her two children! To prove it to CIC though?
Can anyone say what kind of chances she has for her TRV to be accepted?
The Visa Office in Kiev is listing the TRV application process as only five days right now. This is quick, is that accurate? Are the Ukraine/Canada TRV applications processed that quickly?
