A little bit of background:
I'm 22, applying for college next year. I'm currently in University in my home country, have done 3 years of it but this past year I spent studying in Canada (for 1 year only, came back) and saw that my current program in University isn't what I'm looking for in life. I'm comitted to do a different program still in the same relative area, but to do that program in Canada since there are almost no colleges that offer the course in my home country.
I was looking at the IMM 1294 and it asks for my education level. I have secondary incomplete, but as I understand it asks only for my complete education. How can I let CIC know that I was enrolled in university here in Brazil (and 1 year in Canada)? Just so they know I wasn't sitting on my ass for 4 years and suddenly want to go to Canada. Basically, how do I let them know my intentions of dropping current University and going studying in Canada, to clear any suspicions they might have and reduce the chances of refusal? Do I write a letter and send it with the application? Is it advisable to do so, or should I just fill all the forms and hope for the best?
Thanks for your time people
