PMM said:Person born in Israel for example may find it more convenient not to have the Place of Birth, as birth in Israel can be a refusal for some country.

If Israel does not like arab country so much, can they just tell by looking at you?! So hiding where you were born does not do the tricks. Last time I checked, people don't change their appearance/skin once they get Canadian passports, or am I missing something here.ramsfe said:Well if you were born in any arab country, try to go to Israel with a Canadian passport, chances are that you will spend the worse 12 hours of your life before being shipped back to Canada... I know two persons who had to go through this...
And it is true, with the word "israel" in your passport, you will never enter lebanon or syria...
