I recently received my PR card in the mail but seem to have misplaced it inside the house. Is there any way I can travel to my home country for 2 weeks and get back into Canada without it? I understand i have to report the PR card as lost or stolen but I am supposed to be travelling in exactly 1 month today and that doesn’t leave enough time for the new card to arrive.

You will need to apply for a PR travel document from your home country. Not sure if your 2 weeks stay will be sufficient time for that. Check the link below for more information on that:
