Hi,

I have applied for Initial PR and It's been more than a Month and 3 days ..lol I have not received an Initial AOR . I would like to know SHALL I START COLLECTING THE DOCUMENTS >>>??? WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS NEEDS TO BE SENT OUT WICH WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME...CAN ANY ONE PROVIDE ME SOME INFO..SINCE I AM APPLYING FROM USA., I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE TO GET A CERTIFICATE FROM FBI, DO I NEED TO SEND THAT ALONG WITH THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS ...???
DO I NEED TO ATTACH A PHOTOCOPY OF BIRTHCERTIFICATE..WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED..? PLEASE GUIDE...ESP. HOW TO OBTAIN AN FBI CERTIFICATE FROM USA ??? AS WELL AS A BANK STATEMENT...HOW OLD I CAN SUBMIT A BANK STATEMENT...IF I ORDER IT NOW, CAN I USE THAT STATEMENT TO BE SUBMISSION ??

How did you apply for PR without all the required documents?

As for the FBI documents expect at least 2-3 months wait. I requested mine Dec. 1, 20009 and am still waiting (3+ months).

Here is the link but, you will need to remove the spaces for this to work...

Basically you will need to have finger prints done. I had mine taken locally here in Canada. Note however that most places do it electronically, however the FBI requires the old fashion way of ink. Then send them in with credit card info for the $18 processing fee. It will take 8-10 weeks from the states, and 16-18 weeks if sent from Canada for you to get the results.

You should send for the FBI clearance at least 2-3 before you expect to send in your application for PR.

My understanding is that if you sent in the PR application without the supporting documents, the entire application will be returned to you.
