Hi everyone, my wife and me toke our test recently. However I received a request for fingerprint. My question is it possible that my wife e case changes to decision made while mine still in process. Also, when should i expect decision made in my e case.
Thanks in advance

Yes it is possible in family application that one's ecas changes to decision made and another still in progress.
It happened with me as my wife's changed to DM and mine in progress after the test.

My husband and I took our test last July 2015. Then my husband received finger print request which we sent immidiately. I called cic if possible to request to have our application separate since I already passed my exam. The agent told me to just send the requested documents because if I request to separate our application it might delayed it even more. And since it is background check there is possibilities that the CIC will not approve to separate our application. Until now we are waiting for our Oath taking. And If CIC think that your application will take longer they will decide to process the rest of the family application first but will notify you.
