Question Regarding "Decision Made"

Thank you all in advance for any help :D

Today when I checked on CIC status site, under "Permanent Residence Application Status", it says "Decision Made". When I click the link, the next page is same as before:

We received [My Wife's Name]'s application for permanent residence on July 5, 2016.
We started processing [My Wife's Name]'s application on August 22, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Do I just wait for an email at this point? Or should I check paper mail instead? I'm currently away from the permanent address in my CIC profile, so it's a little more difficult than "just go check your paper mail anyways".

So, Decision Made on the PA side on ECAS likely means AIP. If the PA linked the application, the AIP letter will be on the myCIC account. If it was not linked, I'm not sure. But if you received previous communication by email, you likely will receive it by email. However, as I understand, you are the sponsor, so it is your wife that will receive the letter.

In our case, we saw decision made on ECAS and only few hours later we got SA and AIP letters.

Congratulations! I got my DM today, as well, and nothing changed when I clicked on "Decision Made." I've also seen a few other people post the same exact thing, so it's nothing to worry about, that's normal. :) As for what's next, yes, just wait for the PPR email.

Wait for an e-mail. Nothing changed for me in there until I had actually landed, and then it said which border crossing I landed and became a PR at.

Thanks for the info :) Some dumb questions here: what's PA, ECAS, AIP and SA (and other acronyms that people use around here)? I can probably answer more questions from future applicants if I learn these acronyms!

PA = Principal Applicant
AIP = Approval in Principle (this is for inland sponsorship)
SA = Sponsor Approval

ECAS = Client Application Status (I assume the E part just means it's electronic, I never paid attention to what the acronym actually stood for really). That's where you logged in to see Decision Made.
