Hello everyone I've been working at my current workplace since Aug 19/2019 and I was laid off from March 30/2020 to April 24/2020 which is 4 weeks, by my calculation I completed my 52 weeks at the end of last week (sept 11)

1. My question is can I apply for the next draw happening this week of wait till the next one, does the VO take into account 52 weeks or 1 calendar year? If going by calendar year do I have to wait until the end of this week

2. I turned 18 after I arrived in Canada, CIC website says I don't need to do PCC, I have visited my home country(India) but not continuously for 6 months or more. Will they reject my application if I don't do a police verification??

My CRS score is 466

1. 52 weeks. You can submit your profile to the Express Entry pool now. However if you receive ITA, don't submit your application until you have 52 weeks of work experience where you worked at least 30 hours in each week.
2. I don't believe you need a PCC but wait for someone else to confirm.

1. So it's 52 weeks from the first week and not 1 calendar year? Like from August 19/2020 to August 19/2020 is it?
Yes. Of course in your case you need to add an extra four weeks to make up for the 4 weeks you didn't work.

Thank you for the reply, I have already taken the 4 weeks into consideration, I didn't accept any ITAs in the month of August 2020.

My question is, 52 weeks from August 19/2019 is August 08/2020 now since I was laid off one month I hit my 52 week mark on Sept 12/2020, am I correct? or do I need to wait until Sept 19/2020 to hit the 1 year mark?

That is what I am confused about

52 continuous weeks = 1 year, your counting is off which is why you are confused. (If you want to be exact, 52.14)

Regardless, you cannot count the weeks you were laid off. As already stated, you need to add 4 weeks to your anniversary date to get your eligibility date. It looks to me that you will complete 1 year on Sept 15.
