did you receive any notice before the pp sent back? mine should arrive on sep.24 and no update on tracking

Hi - good news, I got my passport including Visa delivered today!

As said, I had send it with USPS Priority mail on Sep 23, so should have arrived in New York around Sep 25. It was sent back yesterday, and reached me this morning!

Hope yours' are on the way as well!

My UPS tracking was activated today.
I will be receiving my passport on 10/21/13(Mon)
It took them a month to return my passport back!

visitor Visa:

Applied Online : 30 Aug
PP Request : 17 Sep
PP sent to NY : 20 Sep
PP received at NY : 24 Sep

No passport yet!

I used UPS to send my passport and also the return envelope enclosed is UPS.
I am not sure if they have a problem with private couriers and if they have sent it thru regular mail(w/o tracking) because of that?

I think mine is also back. This evening, I received a note from USPS saying that they missed me (as I am not at home in daytime), I'll just go to pick up my envelope tomorrow morning.

No message from CIC.

And if the USPS tracking system is working, I may know it and come back waiting for the postman, but it is not.

PP sent to me: 16 Oct
PP received: 17/18 Oct

Based on what is seen from the visa, the date they issue the visa, is the date the request the passport. It is issued at CPP Ottawa rather than NY. Also, they give me a two entries visa with an expire date two days after my return flight; so they do checked the receipt of my flight ticket, as it is not shown by the file they want me to file.

I didnt enclose the flight details. they issue me a 3yr multiple entry
mine is issued in Ottawa as well, though sent from ny consulate
