Hi guys,
I noticed that one of the September 2012 applicants got rejected because the VO believed their updated experience letter was substantially different from the original one. This got me thinking about what they could consider substantially different.
My application was received in February 2013, and I later realized that my employment letter did not specifically mention that I had been in the same position since I started my employment. The exact sentence was "XXXXX commenced his employment on October 17, 2011". After I received my AOR, I emailed CPP-O an updated letter that stated "XXXXX has been in the same position since the commencement of his employment on October 17, 2011". Also, my second letter was dated March 29, 2013. Everything else in my letter (position, hours, salary, duties) remained exactly the same. Is any of this a cause for concern, or am I just nit-picking here? Do they even consider letters that are dated later than the date the application is received?
Thanks!
