Hello, I came to Canada as a tourist to look for a job and be on vacation. I had an interview with a company today that works in the oil field and they want to hire me and are willing to get me a work permit they just told me I would have to find out some more information on what is required from now on and what I have to do? And where could I go change my visitors visa to a work visa? Thank you in advance.

The first step is for your employer to obtain an approved LMIA. You can't do anything until the employer has completed this step.
LMIA is labour market impact assessment. It's a assessment carried out by service Canada which investigates whether employer has made any efforts to recruit Canadian citizens or PR candidates.fredde587 said:
