I'm eligible to apply for citizenship online in early January 2025.
I have already created an online account and started to review some details.
In the Residence and tax section, it asks about "Did you file taxes for tax year 2024".
How should I respond to this question?
In reality I will definitely file taxes for tax year 2024, it is just that right now it's too early to do so because I have not received all the tax slips such as T4, T3. I usually complete my tax in late March / early April each year.
Given that I wish to apply for citizenship now, should I say "Yes" to this question because by April this year I will certainly have taxes filed, or say "No" because as of today I have not filed yet?
