I have another question and it is about the date of marriage proposal. What if there is no official proposal? We talked about marriage but because of our distances we never really had an official marriage proposal. So what do I say in regards to the dates of marriage proposal and the circumstances of it? Also I don't know if this affects the rings I buy. You see, I was originally thinking of buying just wedding rings. However, after further consideration I thought maybe it is better to buy an engagement ring as well. I was thinking if don't buy an engagement ring the CIC agent may think that we did not consider our marriage as important. So my other question is should I buy an engagement ring? But if I do buy an engagement ring, what do I say about the date of our marriage proposal?

I have a question about the form, sponsorship evaluation. I'm sponsoring my wife to come to Canada. So in question 5a, my current undertaking should be 1 and all my previous undertakings are zeros. But I'm confused about question 6a as it is also asking about my spouse. So do I include her in this box or not?

I have a question about how to present the photos. In the document checklist, it says:

Note: Photos must be loose. Do not send them in binders, albums, frames or other such containers.

I was originally planning to print out one to two photos per page, write a little caption underneath each picture, and then put the pages in a transparent binder so that I can present the photos in a logical grouping. Is this a valid method to present my photos? Or is there a better method?

look u have already put number1 as an answer to 5a because u are sponsoring only ur spouse thats good but 6a is only about persons not mentioned in 5 above so this doesnt apply to u because u have ur spouse mentioned in 5 above

u have read this Note: Photos must be loose. Do not send them in binders, albums, frames or other such containers.

then u went on and said u are gonna use a binder , i dont think its a good idea because since they said not binders then no binders u can gather them in an envelope as i did , there might be other good suggestions but dont use the aboved prohibited methods

abou the marriage proposal date , i think since u dont have a specific date you need to attach anothr sheet and indicate the forms title and questin number and explain t them why there was no marriage proposal date , you just need state ur circumstances and be clear i think thats the best way to drive any suspicions from their minds .

Thanks for your answers, med. The reason I asked about the photos is because I saw some samples where the photos were binded. They printed the photos out on A4 paper with captionings underneath and binded them in a large binder. That's why I wanted to ask if that is an acceptable method of presenting to the CIC agents. Do you know of a better method on how to present the photos?

As for the marriage proposal, I understand that I can explain to the CIC agent why there was no official marriage proposal (ie, distance)...but I am wondering how that the CIC agent will view on the engagement ring. If I buy an engagement ring but there wasn't any marriage proposal, will the CIC agent look at it as fake? On the other hand, if I don't buy an engagement ring, will the agent think that I don't consider the marriage as important?

Thanks in advance for your response.
