Question about proof of employment

Hello, I would like to ask about the requirements to have a letter about sponsor's salary, hours etc.(AKA proof of income). Although my husband (who is the sponsor) is currently unemployed and it does not state anything to provide a letter of reason why the sponsor is currently unemployed.

I'm
Sponsoring my husband and I am unemployed , you don't need to have a minimum income but you should wright a letter stating how you support yourselves and how you plan on supporting yourselves in the future.. As long as your not receiving social assistance as long as you have good explanations should be fine
