Question about PR Travel Document (PRTD) Process

Hello,

I am currently outside Canada and my PR card is ready for pick-up, but I am unable to pick it up in person. Since I am Iranian, the closest consulate is in Turkey, which is a bit of an issue as I would need to travel there.

I am applying for a PR Travel Document (PRTD), and I would like to know if I apply for the PRTD online, will the entire process be completed online, including the approval and receiving the document? Or do I still need to send my passport to the consulate to have the PRTD issued and then pick it up in person?

Are you compliant with your RO? Do you have a US visa?
