I finished my 1-yr post graduate program last year and applied for PGWP in Aug.
However, I went back to my country while the case was under processing and my study permit expired at that time. I was planning to wait until the permit was issued and then use it back to re-entry Canada. But now my case is still open, no denial or approval, literally for 212 days.
I want to ask:
1. Is this unusual long issue time due to my absence in Canada?
2. I am so worried that I can not go back to Canada, can I apply for another visitor visa and re-entry Canada first then wait for my permit in there?
